Hyde Park (Naturalized Area) |
Hyde Park is a District Park and is a naturalized area which the City of Saskatoon describes as an award winning wetland design. This area is managed and enhanced through input by Ducks Unlimited and the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation. The City of Saskatoon's Naturalized Parks branch of the Parks Department took over management of the area late in 2014 and is responsible for maintaining the park.
It will take years for the area to re-establish and there are plans to add interpretive signs around the park to highlight the wildlife in the area. Coyote sittings occur throughout the year so please be aware and respect all of the wildlife that live in our naturalized park. Not familiar with naturalized areas?
