Program Descriptions

Home Alone
The Home alone program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth’s capacity to improve their own safety.  Whether in their community or on their own, this group will be given better tools to stay home alone in a variety of different situations. Aimed at children 9-13 years old who are preparing to be able to stay safe at home on their own.

Babysitter Course
The babysitting course now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behavior's to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children.

ART FOR KIDS
Do you like to sketch, draw, and paint? One important skill that every aspiring artist should develop is drawing from a reference. Breaking an image or an object down into its fundamental shapes, getting those down on paper, and adding details in the right place is a super handy artistic skill that anybody can learn and every artist utilizes. So, whether you want to create works of art in a realistic style, or you simply want to make the drawings that spring from your imagination look more grounded, this class will give you plenty of opportunity to learn to draw from reference images and objects, and practice getting those pictures looking pristine!  **Supplies are provided**

Craft & Chat
Come out and meet others from the community, we will organize the craft and you bring the conversation!

Yoga
The benefits of Yoga are many. Join this stretching and yoga class for adults and feel renewed and refreshed.

Zumba
This is a great way to get fit and have some fun keeping warm in the winter. High energy instruction and music to get you moving, you are sure to break a sweat!

*Registration Policy

• A valid Rosewood Community Association membership is required to register for a program.
• Other valid Saskatoon Community Association memberships are also accepted for a program.
• ​If you do not have a membership you can purchase a Rosewood Community Association membership for $15.00 prior to or when registering for a program.
• ​If registering after the registration date there will be a $ 5.00 Late Registration Fee.

Refund Policy

• If the program you sign up for is cancelled we will contact you and refund your program fee.
• One day programs require 48 hours cancellation notice in order to  receive a refund.
• Multiple day programs, unfortunately no refund can be made for a program after the first session of the program occurs.
• A $ 15.00 administrative fee will be assessed for all refund requests. Membership fees are non-refundable.
