Meeting Highlights
New Rosewood Route: Route 86 is a new route, with similar routing to the previous 29 Rosewood. Route 86 continues to interline with other routes at the Centre Mall terminal, you do not require a transfer if your destination is downtown. There was some initial concerns with service to Pawlychenko Lane. Transit addressed these concerns with some revisions to Route 86 and by adding another stop at Slimmons Road and Taylor Street. Additional Bus Stops: Along Rosewood Boulevard/Rosewood Gate (#3086 & #4489). An additional stop was added at Taylor and Simmons Road. Service Hours Extended: Route 86 was created in order that service may be extended into Rosewood and down Rosewood Boulevard West & Rosewood Gate North. With this extended route, frequency is now 30 minutes daytime/ 60 minutes evenings/weekends. Connecting with 8th Street : Route 86 is now interlined with the Route 8, 8th Street and continues to interline with downtown through the day.
