COMPOSTING (Yard waste at home or a City compost depot)Compost at home or drop off to one of the City's depots free of charge!
The City of Saskatoon's two compost depots have closed for the season and will reopen in the spring of 2017 (weather permitting). Rosewood residents are encouraged to compost to reduce waste sent to the Landfill. Depot Locations and Hours

Home Visits (Composting Help at Home)
The Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council, in partnership with the City of Saskatoon, is offering Saskatoon residents that need help getting a composting system started, or trouble-shooting an existing one. A trained Compost Coach volunteer will come to your home and help you with your composting questions or problems. Home visits generally take 15-45 minutes. The City of Saskatoon is offering $20 rebates to Saskatoon residents who purchase a compost bin or rain barrel from a Saskatoon retailer. Your household is eligible for one rebate per item per year. Receipt and proof of Saskatoon residency (copy of utility bill, driver's license, or similar) must be sent in with your completed Rebate Form. To apply, please fill out the online rebate form.
