The City of Saskatoon held a Public Open House for the Proposed Major Amendments planned for the Rosewood Neighbourhood Concept Plan on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
The Rosewood Community Association also held a meeting following the open house to discuss the proposed changes. Copies of the documents displayed during the open house can be found on the Rosewood Major Amendments Page. The Rosewood Community Association conducted a survey and forwarded to the City of Saskatoon. More information is on the City of Saskatoon's Rosewood Discussion Page. |

Information Meeting: Future Saskatoon Schools - Community Spaces & Access - April 16, 2014
The future elementary schools in Saskatoon will be an exciting new opportunity for learning and community-based recreation. The City of Saskatoon (City) wishes to provide residents with information on the possibilities for new community spaces and access to schools in the neighbourhoods of Hampton Village, Stonebridge, Rosewood, and Evergreen, which were made possible by the Community Centre Levy collected through new lot sales. The City, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Saskatoon Public Schools, and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, invites you to come and learn more about the new schools, see models, and have an opportunity to ask all of your questions and provide your thoughts. For those who cannot make the first presentation, it will be repeated a second time later in the evening.

UPDATE: The new tower was approved and installed.
SaskTel is proposing to change the existing 14.9 metre stealth pole to a 35 metre stealth pole. The pole is currently located near the Royal Bank located off of Slimmon Road / Herold Crescent. Comments received from residents were shared with SaskTel. |
