FALL 2015 PROGRAMSPlease note that date, times as well as class offerings may be different than what is printed in the leisure guide. The courses offered below ae up to date and reflect our current offerings.
FALL REGISTRATION NIGHT Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2015 Time: 7:00 - 9:00 PM Location: Elim Church (Hospitality Room), 419 Slimmon Road Yoga (Ages 16+) This class is ideal for beginners but, all levels are welcome to participate in this program. Dates: October 1 to November 19, 2015 Day / Time: Thursdays / 6:00 - 7:00 pm Cost: $ 65.00 /participant* Zumba (Ages 16+) - cancelled due to limited enrollment This class is sure to get you moving and you don't need to know how to dance! The Latin inspired music and fun dance moves with leave you wanting more. For anyone over 16 years who wants an excellent workout! Dates: September 22 to November 24, 2015 (10 classes) Day / Time: Tuesdays / 6:00 - 7:00 pm Cost: $ 65.00 /participant* Babysitting Course (Ages 11+) This course will give youth ages 11+ the knowledge and confidence to babysit. Learn the basics of first aid, fire safety, age appropriate games and activities as well as how to stay safe while babysitting. Dates: September 24 to November 5, 2015 (7 classes) Day / Time: Thursdays / 6:00 - 7:00 pm Cost: $ 45.00 /participant* Location: St. Luke School Art Explorations (Ages 6-9) - cancelled due to limited enrollment This art class will introduce children ages 6-9 to a variety of art and art techniques each week. This is a hands on class and kids will be able to create something each week. Dates: October 6 to November 10, 2015 (6 classes) Day / Time: Tuesdays / 6:00 - 6:45 pm Cost: $ 65.00 /participant* Hyde Wetland Naturalized Area Fall Cleanup All ages are welcome to come and be a part of the 3rd Annual Fall Cleanup of the Hyde Wetlands Naturalized Area! There will be a brief presentation on wetland functions and values for the Rosewood community conducted by a Professional Wetland Scientist prior to the cleanup. Date: Saturday, September 19, 2015 Start Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location: Meeting place is the bridge at Hyde Park * Please note that a valid Rosewood Community Association membership is also required to register for programs. Other valid Community Association memberships will also be accepted. If you do not have a membership you can purchase an RCA membership for $15.00 prior to or when registering for a program.
Refund policy:
If the program you sign up for is cancelled we will contact you and refund your program fee. One day programs require 48 hours cancellation notice in order to receive a refund. Multiple day programs, unfortunately no refund can be made for a program after the first session of the program occurs. A $ 15.00 administrative fee will be assessed for all refund requests. Membership fees are non-refundable. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. |
It was a beautiful sunny day with somewhere between 600-800 people stopping by to enjoy the day! We surpassed our estimate of 100-300 people.
Next year we hope to have an larger event with even more people coming out to enjoy the day!

We had 10 residences in Rosewood that signed up to be a part of this years community garage! From the traffic at the garage sales it looks like it was a great success! Stay tuned for a date around the same time next year if you want to take part in the community garage sale.

Your membership allows you to register for programs offered by the Rosewood Community Association or currently offered by other community associations in Saskatoon. Check out the City of Saskatoon's website's Leisure Guide for programs you may be interested in. The cost for an individual or family membership is $15 and renewed annually in August. By becoming part of your community association you are helping to bring activities and events to Rosewood. |
